AUBERGE PLACE D'ARMES, Quebec City – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel offers a mix of positive and negative aspects that make for a decent stay. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and clean, perfect for a romantic getaway, but the absence of a bathtub and medical equipment could be a drawback. The location is excellent for exploring the area but can be noisy. The dining options are ample and pleasant, especially at Jules restaurant. The facilities are well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay overall.

Staying at this hotel was a dream come true! The room had individual heating controls and heated floors in the bathroom, making it feel so cozy and original. Plus, the included breakfast was a lovely touch, and the view of the Chateau Frontenac from the room was simply romantic.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The charming room offered an incredible view of the Fairmont castle and had lovely conveniences like the Nespresso machine and a cozy shower. On the flip side, the small space, along with the sloping ceiling that could be a head-bumping hazard, was a bit challenging. The location couldn't have been better with a view of the Chateau Frontenac right from my window, making it ideal for exploring old QC. The service was top-notch, with the staff being incredibly accommodating and friendly, especially considering my limited French. As for dining, the meals were a highlight, especially the full breakfast from the bistro menu, although some aspects left me wanting more. Overall, a wonderful experience with some minor room size constraints and dining letdowns.

Getting upgraded to the best room for free was the cherry on top, truly making me feel special. The service was top-notch, with efficient, hard-working, and very friendly staff. The location was simply unbeatable, right in the heart of Old Quebec, blending old-world charm with modern touches perfectly. The dining experience was a delight, with delicious meals that left me wanting more. A few minor drawbacks but overall an amazing stay!
